1st set of forgeries. Appeared ~1920. Lion’s tail generally thin and horizontal. Type I and II forged postmarks.
2nd set of forgeries. Appeared 1920. Lion’s tail bushy. Type I, II & III forged postmarks.
3rd set of forgeries. Appeared ~mid 1930’s. European laid paper, character at top looks like ”UI”. Type III forged postmark. Copies are very scarce.
4th set of forgeries. Appeared late 1930’s. Lion’s tail generally large and bushy pointing to the back of the lion. Type IV and IX forged postmarks. Two clichés.
5th set of forgeries. Appeared late 1930’s. Design and colors similar to the 4th set. Type V forged postmark.
7th set of forgeries. Lion’s front leg looks like horns. Type VI, VII and VIII forged postmarks.
