Genuine vs. Forgeries
Look at the ‘A’ in NACIO, the genuine always show a thick right leg, the forgeries does not (the only exception is Sperati’s forgery). Another thing, the genuine show a dot after CENTAVOS, the forgeries does not (again, an exception is Sperati’s forgery).
Sperati forgery
Several damaged letters. ‘EN’ of CENTAVOS is connected to the oval. Cracks in the oval and in the outer frame.

Sperati forgery type II
Flaw in the background above ‘U’ in UN. ‘S’ in PESO is broken at the top. Large blob of color joins ‘O’ in PESO to the frame below. Crack in the outer frame above ‘N’ in NACIONALES, between ‘RR’ in CORREOS. Large break in the outer frame to the left of PESO.
